TRIBE Creative Design Agency began at a local bowling alley during the middle of a league night in the summer of 2019. The two co-founders, Anthony Tripi and Anthony Benicki, are avid bowlers and have known each other for over a decade now. They met while bowling in junior bowling tournaments throughout Arizona, and eventually bowled together on the Arizona State University’s bowling team. TRIBE is a combination of their last names, TRIPI and BENICKI.
A couple of fun facts about us, we have the same middle name and our birthdays are identical too! Well, almost. Anthony Tripi’s birthday is October 3rd (10/3) while Anthony Benicki’s birthday falls on March 10th (3/10). Close enough if you ask us!
A little about us, we’re both Graphic Designers with over 15 years of combined experience in the industry. We’ve designed countless logos, full brand identities, business cards, flyers, ads for print in magazines, banners for arenas, and we’ve built several websites too. We’re each pretty well versed in many aspects of design. What makes this partnership work so beautifully is that although we both have a shared knowledge in the extensive list of what graphic design entails, our differences lie within our strengths, which allows us to confidently offer a range of services to clients and their businesses. Anthony Tripi has a strong focus and knack for print design and branding, while Anthony Benicki keys in on web design and development, specifically websites built in Webflow.
We’ve been blessed to have gotten to work on a variety of projects in many different industries in the short amount of time we’ve started TRIBE and we’re so thankful for all of the opportunities that have come our way. We love working with start ups and making the visions of our clients a reality. It’s exciting to see new projects come through our pipeline and we look forward to seeing where this journey takes us.
While growing up, my family and I moved around a lot. Over the course of 15 years, we lived in 5 states and 6 different locations. For anyone who has ever moved around as a kid knows, it's not easy moving that much. In hindsight though, Arizona became home and it led me to who I am today. In high school, I took up a vast interest in computers and art. By the time I was ready for college, my Art teacher at the time enlightened me that there was such a career as Graphic Design. After my parents encouraged me, it became clear this was the path I wanted to pursue. That fall, I enrolled into the Visual Communication Design program at Arizona State University. Not only highly competitive, but one of the most sought-after design programs in the country. Fast forward 4 years and I ended up graduating Summa Cum Laude, with a Bachelor of Science in Design (Graphic Design).
With over 10 years of experience in this field, I have been fortunate enough to have worked at Advertising agencies and been a part of in-house design teams for companies that reach globally. I specialize in marketing strategy and all aspects of branding. Fully believing a strategic approach leads to innovative results. You may have seen some of my dog treat packaging in retail stores.
In my free time, you'll find my wife and I catching the latest movies, seeing concerts, and exploring all the craft breweries around the valley. We love traveling and discovering new places too. With a zest for adventure, our social calendar gets full quickly. Spending lots of quality time with our Corgi Ava is something we greatly enjoy as well.
